Gertrude Ganley White, 97, of Boyds, MD, died January 22, 2018 at the Wilson Health Care Center in Gaithersburg, MD.
She was the wife of the late Donald C. White.
Born on June 27, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Nettie V. Ganley.
Gertrude was a lifelong resident of Germantown and Boyds area and a well-known, lifelong and respected parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Barnesville, MD. Her faith was important foundation of her life. She helped clean the church and played an active role in all church events.
Surviving is her daughter, Anna Marie Perry; 3 grandchildren, Michelle Federline, Nicole Cohen, David Perry and 7 great grandchildren.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her 8 siblings.
