Mrs. Barbara Butz Lombardi, 60, of Germantown, died Saturday, Sept. 29, at her residence.
She was the wife of Victor Joseph Lombardi Jr.
Born March 1, 1941, in Washington, she was the daughter of Alice O. Truland of Washington, and the late Walter R. Truland.
She had been a resident of Montgomery County since her marriage to Thompson Hitchcock Butz in 1962.
She was a graduate of Stone Ridge Day School and attended San Diego University and American University.
She was an active volunteer for many years at Montgomery County Fair and served as director of the Butz Foundation and the Lombardi Foundation.
In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by four sons, Theodore H. Butz, Thompson H. Butz Jr., Robert T. Butz and Jeremy F. Butz; one brother, Robert W. Truland; and four grandchildren, all of Montgomery County.
