Mr. James E. Allnutt, 69, of Etchison, died Sunday, June 23, at the Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville. Born Sept. 20, 1926, in Etchison, he was a son of the late Walter T. and Ida Mae Moore Allnutt. Mr. Allnutt had lived his entire life in Etchison in the house where he was born.He was a graduate of Gaithersburg High School, class of 1944.He was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church in Etchison and also attended St. Paul United Methodist Church in Laytonsville.

He was a life member of the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair.He had worked with his father doing farm work, but most of his life he had been a grave digger for several cemeteries in the area, as well as the caretaker for Mount Tabor Unfed Methodist Church. He was a benefactor to many local area children.

Surviving are a sister, Hazel M. Allnutt of Etchison; three nephews, Bob L. Allnutt of Etchison, John King of Darnestown. and Tom King of Darnestown; and a niece, Augusta Mae Wayne of Gaithersburg.He is remembered by special friends Tom and Jane King of Etchison.He was preceded in death by a sister, Gladys King.
