Darryl Wayne Walker, 74, of Damascus, MD, passed away on March 13, 2023, unexpectedly due to medical complications he was facing.

Darryl was born on May 19, 1948, to Stuart Eugene Day Walker I and Eunice Emily Walker. Darryl was a Damascus High School graduate class of 1966. He went on to Western Maryland University (now McDaniel College) for one semester, and then transferred to the University of Maryland to major in agriculture science and minor in education. He graduated in 1970. 

Darryl was passionate about and highly active in the agricultural community. He was a 7th generation farmer. Darryl was very hard working, enjoyed being outside, and listening to talk radio. When he wasn’t outside, he would enjoy watching any sport that was televised. 

Darryl married Patricia Young and together they raised three sons, Jacob, Robert, and Aaron.

Darryl was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Ann Walker, parents; Stuart and Eunice Walker. He is survived by, sons, Jacob Taylor, Robert Walker and wife Sara Walker, and Aaron Walker, granddaughters Savannah Taylor, Grace and Emma Walker as well as many nephews and nieces.

Darryl was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
