Mr. Sidney Lee Mills, 84, of Crestwood Village, Frederick, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville.
He was the husband of Joyce A. Christenson Mills. They were married for over 60 years.
Born Dec. 20, 1915, in Gaithersburg, he was a son of the late Edward Lee and Bertha Roberts Mills.
Mr. Mills was a bricklayer and contractor for 44 years. He owned Sidney L. Mills & Son Construction, and also farmed in Damascus.
He was a founder of the Montgomery County Agriculture Center in Gaithersburg, and was a 4-H leader and member.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two children, Conrad Lee Mills and wife Irene, and Connie J. Hudson-Zulick and husband James, all of Gaithersburg; five granddaughters, Tiffiney Maxwell, Jennifer Jenkins, Criquette Mills, Jill Miller and Dana Hudson; one great-grandson, Joshua Lee Miller; one brother, Paul Donald Mills of Gaithersburg; and one sister, Dorothy Kilby of Gaithersburg.
