Mrs. Marjorie Williams Spaulding of Homewood at Crumland Farms, Frederick, formerly of Sun City Center, Fla., and a 35 year resident of Gaithersburg, passed away Friday, Dec. 19, 2008. She was 86 years old.
She was the loving wife of the late Arthur E. Spaulding for more than 60 years.
Mrs. Spaulding is survived by two children, Philip W. Spaulding and wife, Martha of Marco Island, Fla., and Shelley S. Johnson and husband, Gerald of Frederick.
She will be lovingly remembered by her grandson, James C. Johnson and wife, Melissa; and granddaughter, Rebecca S. Cook and husband, Dustin. She has two great-grandchildren, Jeffrey and Ava. She will also be remembered by her sister, Janet Galusha, family and friends.
Mrs. Spaulding was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur E. Williams; and grandson, Geoffrey Spaulding.
While living in Gaithersburg, she was a member of Epworth Methodist Church and retired as a registrar at Gaithersburg Middle School. In Florida she was active in the Flower Arrangers Club and received many awards for her efforts.
