Carol’s family members were Pioneers, she was active in the Dairy Department, Fair Food Booths and Old Timers

Carol Mills Weiger, 80 of Frederick passed peacefully at Kline Hospice House on Friday, November 11th surrounded by family and friends. She was the loving mother of Paul Weiger, Kandi Weiger-Dinkel, Jackie Guthrie, and the late Peter Weiger. She is survived by her loving partner Charles “Doug” Harding and will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and countless family and friends. Her family, and her role as mother and grandmother were her passion. The love and kindness she showed to all who knew her will continue to be the gauge from which we all measure ourselves. 

Born in Gaithersburg on a dairy farm, she never strayed far from her roots. She was a beloved 4-H leader, a member of the Montgomery County Agricultural Center, as well as, various other community organizations. Among her many volunteer accomplishments, she was most proud of her work with the King Dairy MooSeum which held a special place in her heart.
