Mrs. Blanche D. Hogan, 76, of Damascus, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2009, at Montgomery General Hospital. She was the wife of Mr. Edward M. Hogan Sr., her husband of 55 years.
Born March 13, 1933, in Bridgeville, Pa., she was the daughter of George E. and Rebecca Sims Davidson. She was retired from Montgomery County Public Schools as a health technician.
Mrs. Hogan volunteered for 40 years with Montgomery County 4-H Clubs and was a lifetime and honorary member of the Montgomery County Agriculture Center. She had many fond memories in the “Big Cheese” at the Montgomery County Fair.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Edward Hogan Jr. of Damascus, Susan Sullivan and husband, Dennis, of Laytonsville, and Charles Hogan and wife, Mary of Bel Camp; seven grandchildren, Shannon and Liam Sullivan, Jennifer Monarch, and Edward, Charles, Emily and George Hogan; and a great-grandson, Logan Monarch.
