Mrs. Lenora R. Wachter, 88, of Woodfield, died Wednesday, June 2, at Vindobona Nursing Home, Braddock Heights.
She was the wife of the late C. Leroy Wachter.
Born Jan. 20, 1911, in Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Bertha Watkins Duvall.
Mrs. Wachter had been a bookkeeper for Wachter and Norwood prior to her retirement.
She had been a member of Wesley Grove United Methodist Church, Woodfield, for 40 years, and was a former member of Damascus United Methodist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Rebecca Norwood and husband Howard of Woodfield; three grandchildren, Steven Norwood and wife Lynn of Monrovia, Michael Norwood and wife Pam of Frederick, and Susan Meunier and husband Rick of Frederick; six great-grandchildren, Shaun and Katelynn Norwood, Kyle and Kasey Meunier, and Cliff and Heather Ball; and one brother, David L. Duvall of Damascus.
Mrs. Wachter was preceded in death by two sisters, Catherine Johnson and Hazel Smith; and two brothers, Wilson and Willard Duvall.
