Delph, Charles Fuzzy

Mr. Charles “Fuzzy” Cleveland Delph, 60, of Gaithersburg, died Thursday, July 8, 2004, at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital. He was the husband of Ruth S. Shoemaker Delph.

Born in Virginia, Mr. Delph was employed by Barrons Lumber in Gaithersburg for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany and was a life member of Montgomery County Agricultural Center and Mount Airy American Legion.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Ruth Ann Muller and husband Richard, of Woodbine; grandson, William Muller; granddaughter, Amanda Muller; nephew, Brandon Childs; sister, Callie Delph, of Tazewall, Tenn.; friends, John Marchetti, Bob Russell and Jim Davis; many other nieces and nephews; and many other friends at Barrons Lumber.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Simpson and Amanda Delph.
