Mr. Chester Molesworth Leishear, 91, of Damascus, Maryland, died Friday, March 17, 2006 at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital in Rockville, Maryland. He was the husband of the late Ethel Zepp Leishear, who died December 1999.
Born October 16, 1914 in Brookville, Maryland, he was a son of the late Eli Molesworth and Goldie Dwyer Leishear.
Mr. Leishear was a longtime farmer in the Damascus area. He was a member of the Upper Montgomery County Farmers Club, the Damascus Rotary Club, Montgomery County Fair Board, Former member of the Farmers and Mechanics Advisory Board, Former director of the Montgomery County Soil Conservation District, and a member of Mt. View United Methodist Church, Damascus.
Surviving him are three children, Jack V. Leishear and companion Dottie Green, Donald L. Leishear and companion Anna Quigley and Betty Lou Loun and her husband Allen; a loving companion Fran Burlas; a sister, Louise; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
